About Chia seeds

Chia seeds are a nutrient-dense food easy to incorporate into your diet. They are packed with protein, fibre, omega-3 fatty acids, and other essential vitamins and minerals. The best way to consume chia seeds is to add them to smoothies, or in puddings by soaking them in milk overnight or a minimum of 20 minutes.  Soaking chia seeds makes them easier to digest, helps increase feelings of fullness, and enhances their nutritional value by releasing essential enzymes and nutrients. It is a simple and effective way to improve the benefits of adding chia seeds to your diet. If you only sprinkle chia seeds on a salad or smoothie you won't get the full benefits of Chia seeds. They can be added to baked goods such as muffins or bread for a boost of nutrition. Experiment with different recipes, be creative and enjoy!
